When you send a message through the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter, we receive whatever you type: usually a name, an email address and the content of your message. We use it to reply to you and to send the newsletter you asked for, and nothing else.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our host records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We use analytics to understand which recipes get read and where readers arrive from. This is aggregate data and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to remember basic preferences and to measure traffic. Our advertising partners may also set cookies to serve and measure ads.
You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not break the recipes, though some conveniences may stop working.

How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who make the site run — our web host, our email newsletter provider, our analytics provider and our ad network — and only to the extent they need it to do that job. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept for two years. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the link at the bottom of every email. Server logs roll off after 90 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. California residents have these rights under the CCPA and CPRA. To exercise any of them, email [email protected] and we will respond within 45 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Do Not Track
Browsers vary in how they send Do Not Track signals and there is no accepted standard for responding to them, so this site does not currently respond to them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will also be announced in the newsletter.
